Faisal Mateen is an internationally experienced artist, creative designer, and educator with over 30 years of excellence in the fields of fine art, graphic design, and visual communication. He is the visionary founder of Art for Cause, I Design Dreams, and Surma Bhopali, organizations dedicated to promoting art, creativity, and meaningful social impact.
Holding a Postgraduate Degree in Fine Arts (Drawing & Painting), Faisal has built an inspiring career that spans India, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. His professional journey includes working with leading advertising agencies in Madinah, Jeddah, and Dubai as a Creative and Senior Designer, where he contributed to numerous high-profile creative projects.
In India, he served as an Art Teacher at Oak Grove School, Mussoorie, one of the country’s most prestigious boarding schools, where he mentored young artists and nurtured creative talent. He has also worked as a Senior Graphic Artist with renowned publishing houses, designing educational course books, children’s books, and a wide range of creative publications.
As a practicing artist, Faisal Mateen has participated in more than 30 solo and group exhibitions, including two prestigious exhibitions at the iconic Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, one of India’s most respected art institutions.
Through Art for Cause, his vision extends far beyond creating art. He believes creativity has the power to unite cultures, uplift artists, and bring meaningful change to society. His mission is to build a global platform where art inspires compassion, empowers communities, and transforms lives
